In Vietnam, photography was more than a hobby - it was a way to express himself creatively. Combining photography with graphic design, he won online contests that took him to Italy and Ireland. After arriving in Melbourne, he quickly connected with the city’s vibrant creative community and photography evolved into a serious profession.
In 2022, he won a journalism photography award for international students, and his work was exhibited at the Kathleen Syme Library. Since then, he has expanded his skills and built a career as a freelance photographer, specialising in events and outdoor portraits.
“Working with the HL Photography team has allowed me to refine my craft further, particularly in capturing the structure, atmosphere, and stories of heritage buildings and construction projects. My aim is to create images that are both visually compelling and informative, delivering a unique perspective on the spaces and stories behind them”
